Ose is an app that helps shy adults dare to go towards others. This page says what it keeps, what leaves your phone, who processes it and for how long. Questions, or a request about your data: contact@revely.tech.
What stays on your phone
Your answers to the first questions, your story, your missions and how they went, your fears and feelings as you note them, the people you see again, your events and your progress are kept on your phone only. They are not sent to our servers. Your phone’s own backup (iCloud, Android backup) may include them, under your Apple or Google account.
« Erase everything », in the settings, deletes all of it from the phone, along with the anonymous account below.
An anonymous account
Ose has no sign-in, no email and no password. In the background, Firebase Authentication (Google) gives your install an anonymous identifier. It is used to call the AI, to limit those calls per person, and to check your subscription. It carries no name and nothing you wrote.
The AI
Only if you agree, when Ose asks before the first message, what the AI needs to answer is sent to it: for your reflection, your answers to the first questions and your story; to take stock, the moment you noted and your messages; to rehearse, the event’s name and place, the step and your messages. The people you see again are never sent.
The AI is Gemini, by Google, reached through Firebase AI Logic (Vertex AI), as our processor. Google does not use these messages to train its models. They may stay in an in-memory cache for 24 hours at most, and Google may log some of them to detect abuse. Ose keeps neither the messages nor the answers on its servers; a counter of calls per account is kept 2 days, without any text.
You can withdraw your agreement at any time in the settings: Ose then works without the AI.
Usage statistics and crash reports
To improve Ose, the app sends usage statistics to Firebase Analytics (Google): the screens you open, the missions you start and finish and at which step, the paywall seen or the purchase made, and similar events. They never contain anything you wrote, nor a name, a fear or a feeling. They are tied to your anonymous identifier and kept 14 months. No advertising identifier is collected, and nothing is used for advertising.
You can turn the statistics off in the settings, at any time.
When the app crashes, Firebase Crashlytics (Google) receives a technical report: the code where it failed, the phone model and the system version. These reports are kept 90 days.
A separate counter, which knows no account and keeps no IP address, counts how many people see and answer each first question, per app version and language.
Purchases
Subscriptions are bought from Apple or Google, who handle the payment. RevenueCat manages the subscription status: it receives your anonymous identifier, your purchases and the Firebase identifier of your install, and nothing else about you.
This website
This site counts its visits with Umami, which we host ourselves. It sets no cookie and keeps no personal data.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may ask to access, correct or erase your data, object to its processing, or ask for a copy: write to contact@revely.tech. Most of it lives only on your phone, where « Erase everything » removes it. You may also complain to your data protection authority, in France the CNIL (cnil.fr).
Ose is for adults only.
